Technical Lead

Salary: 29k – 39k

Main responsibilities

You will lead the technical team by example, mentoring junior members of the team and ensuring code quality and innovation is championed throughout the team. Where appropriate you will specify and estimate project work, working closely with the directors to win competitive tenders of work.

Building and maintaining websites and web applications for Blue2’s extensive range of clients, primarily programming in PHP. Responsibility also for server maintenance and client IT support.

With projects ranging from eCommerce, back-office systems & original IP, you will have the opportunity to tackle many different programming challenges and carve out a long-term career with Blue2.

Essential skills

  • Expert in HTML, CSS & Javascript
  • Expert in object oriented PHP and/or C#
  • Knowledge of various CMSs integrations
  • Competent in system administration (e.g. Apache, Nginx, Windows Server, AWS, Azure)
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

Web Developer

Salary: 20k – 25k

Main responsibilities

Building and maintaining websites and web applications for Blue2’s extensive range of clients, primarily programming in PHP within WordPress. Responsibility also for server maintenance and client IT support. With projects ranging from eCommerce, back-office systems & original IP, the right candidate will have the opportunity to tackle many different programming challenges and carve out a long-term career with Blue2.

Essential skills

  • Competent in HTML, CSS & Javascript
  • Experience with CMS integrations
  • Competent in object oriented PHP and/or C#

Desirable skills

  • Experience with theme and plugin development in WordPress, Umbraco or Kentico
  • Knowledge or server administration (e.g. Apache, Nginx, Windows Server, AWS, Azure)

Business Development Manager

Salary: 26k – 39k (depending on experience)

Main responsibilities

You will be responsible for generating sales across multiple sectors, as well as retaining and growing revenue from existing clients. You will be required to source new sales leads and contact clients by telephone/email/meetings in order to sell the company’s services.

We would expect you to follow a consultative sales process by carrying out fact finding meetings to help establish the client’s needs and requirements before working with the design and technical teams to create the best possible proposal for the client.

You will build effective relationships with your own clients in order to encourage new and repeat business and arrange and attend face-to-face client meetings for both new and existing clients to generate larger sales opportunities.  You will manage the client’s expectations to ensure we deliver on our commitments to agreed SLA’s. To do this you will be expected to communicate effectively with the Project Managers as well as the design and technical teams to ensure that work is delivered within the agreed budgets and to the required standards.

You will be expected to build an effective pipeline of work and forecast accurately, updating all information on the internal CRM.

You will work with the Project Managers to handle all client queries and any complaints swiftly and in accordance with the agreed company process.

You will generate invoicing and liaise with the Finance department to ensure that clients remain up to date with payments.

 

Essential skills

B2B sales experience working within a digital agency or in the online media, web or I.T. industry

Strong new business sales experience and knowledge of web, apps, online software and social media.

You will be an enthusiastic and consultative sales person with the ability to prepare for and run meetings, as well as present the company, its services and products to key decision makers.

Experience of working to and achieving challenging targets & KPI’s

Must be proactive and have strong communication skills.

Professional well-spoken and personable with an excellent telephone manner.

Must be sales focused with the ability to self-manage, create an active pipeline and build effective client relationships.

Be able to demonstrate an ability to work autonomously.

Results driven and self-motivated individual with a desire to be successful.
