Support for Keyworkers and the NHS

Blue2’s Blue Hues

Broughty Ferry continued to light up in support of the NHS and frontline key workers last night as our church premises on Brook Street turned blue watched over by the resident Oor Wullie.

The Broughty Ferry community has fully embraced the weekly 8pm clap with both the Royal Tay Yacht Club and Broughty Ferry Lightboat Station being turned blue in the past two weeks. Last night we showed our support by lighting up in blue and moving the resident Oor Wullie, normally found keeping a watchful eye in the reception of the church, into the grounds where he could be seen by passers by.

Nial Chapman, Digital Director Blue2, said:

“The church is a beautiful building and looks fantastic lit up in blue. We wanted to visibly support the Thursday clap and to continue to show our appreciation for everything the NHS and frontline key workers are doing for us all.”
