Digital Marketing Analyst

We are looking for a talented Digitial Marketing Analyst to join our team. You will provide clients with initial and ongoing support. The overall purpose of the role is to manage our client’s Digital Marketing requirements including; PPC, SEO, and Social Media activities

In addition, the role involves the support of the wider digital marketing team in the creation and execution of digital strategies for the marketing of our clients and the promotion of Blue2, Avian and Ginger PR. Work on all client/internal projects will involve liaising with external and internal teams, ensuring project completion, within deadlines, budget and to the client specification. Responsible for identifying, developing and helping the Digital Marketing Manager to convert new business opportunities where appropriate.

Service Excellence

  • Actively participate in critiques, reviews and discussions of current client/prospect strategies and make recommendations to improve performance across the board.
  • Take responsibility for the generation/review/edit of strategy for clients and group companies, ensuring that all projects undertaken are delivered within required timescales, and according to the agreed budget, and ensuring that profit margins are maintained.
  • Help the Digital Marketing Manager to prepare client estimates with regard to work which are accurate and in line with client requirements and which deliver a suitable profitable return for the business.
  • Liaise with teams and management to ensure that work schedule and priorities are known, identifying areas for concern where client delivery may be impacted, and taking corrective action.
  • Liaise with key contacts within client businesses to ensure service provided is meeting expectations.
  • Manage and resolve client problems and issues within a specific task or project, ensuring that where necessary, the Digital Marketing Manager is informed to maintain client relationship.
  • Identify additional opportunities/client needs whilst carrying out work for a client.

  • Demonstrate sound commercial knowledge in Digital Marketing.
  • Develop business opportunities through effectively promoting the work of Blue2, Avian and Ginger PR to different audiences via a variety of media.

Technical Innovation

  • Maintain own Continuing Professional Development and ensure awareness at all times of current industry best practice (search algorithm changes and updates, new tools for analysis, Google Ads, Amazon Ads etc) to enhance client opportunities.
  • Ensure an understanding of best practice in marketing and emerging technologies that would enhance the client experience and demonstrate competitive advantage.

Managing Relationships

  • Attend, participate and contribute to meetings including meetings with clients ensuring appropriate up to date information is communicated and acted upon.
  • Build rapport rapidly with clients to ensure client satisfaction whilst supporting them by meeting requirements.
  • Maintain regular contact with appropriate sources to fully service requirements and provide appropriate input and support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all levels of staff to ensure flow of relevant information is communicated within Blue2, Avian & Ginger PR.
  • Foster a working environment where people discuss requirements openly.
  • Demonstrate “adding value” to relationships with clients.
  • Anticipate and fulfil client needs in a successful manner.
  • Recognise, understand and value different cultural experiences and backgrounds to achieve the best possible outcome.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company ensuring client confidentiality is maintained at all times.
