Web Developer
Main responsibilities
Building and maintaining websites and web applications for Blue2’s extensive range of clients, primarily programming in PHP within WordPress. Responsibility also for server maintenance and client IT support. With projects ranging from eCommerce, back-office systems & original IP, the right candidate will have the opportunity to tackle many different programming challenges and carve out a long-term career with Blue2.
Essential skills
- Competent in HTML, CSS & Javascript
- Experience with CMS integrations
- Competent in object-oriented PHP and/or C#
Desirable skills
- Experience with theme and plugin development in WordPress, Umbraco or Kentico
- Knowledge of server administration (e.g. Apache, Nginx, Windows Server, AWS, Azure)
